Vegetable varieties available in mini-greenhouse growing kits

All our vegetables are chosen for taste and ease of growing. Even if you’ve never grown vegies before, you will find it easy with these seeds in our mini-greenhouse growing kits.

Beans

Blue Lake (Organic) Phaseolus vulgarisA home garden favourite. Straight, smooth and stringless with exceptional taste. 12cm long tasty flat pods. Grows to: 200cm (high) x 10cm (wide). Staking required. Position: Full sun.

Cucumber

Lebanese mini-muncher (Organic) Cucumis sativusClassic Mediterranean smooth skinned variety great in salads and sandwiches or for pickling. Burpless. Grows to: 30cm (high) x 100cm (wide) Position: full sun

Capsicum

Mini sweet mix (Organic) Capsicum annuumShort plants covered in sweet yellow, red and chocolate heirloom mini capsicums. Kids love to munch them straight off the bush. Grows to: 60cm (high) x 40cm (wide) Position: full sun

Tomato

Mini red and yellow (Australian) Lycopersicon lycopersicumDelicious little tomatoes just the right size for a snack or a salad. Grows to: 100cm (high) x 60cm (wide) Position: sunny position with 60cm between plants. Staking required.

Lettuce

Our lettuce mix is a delightful and unique blend of delicious lettuces that are perfect for a summer salad. All grow to approx 30cm (wide) x 30cm (high) and should be planted in full sun.

	Flame lettuce (Organic) Lactuca sativaVibrant red leaves. Very slow to bolt.		Rouge d’hiver (Organic) Lactuca sativaLong crunchy leaves turn deep red-brown in cool weather. Slow to bolt during summer.
	Royal Oakleaf (Organic) Lactuca sativaThick sweet leaves are tolerant of heat.		Lolita (Organic) Lactuca sativaHeavily frilled intense burgundy leaf lettuce. Compact and slow to bolt.
	Rubin (Organic) Spectacularly colorful lettuce that has extremely dark red leaves with frilled edges.		Freckles (Organic) An heirloom lettuce with lovely spots and a tasty flavour. Lettuce Freckles is a semi-cos variety that is slow to bolt.
